2017 was the year that I experienced a lot of growth. 2017 was the year that set up 2018 for success. And for that, for 2017. I am thankful. However, GOOD RIDDANCE! Now that 2018 is in full swing, I have decided that I will no longer make resolutions but small monthly goals (which I started a while ago) in order to accomplish my goals. Sure, I will have a large overview for the year, but for me personally, productivity happens when I set up small goals to manage the larger successes. My word for 2017 was “Valiant” and let me tell you, I lived every breathe of that word. I lived in every sense of the word. I remained valiant through 2017. I was a fighter and I refused to give up on myself. What does intentional mean to me? Intentional to me means: -pray with the intention of listening to what God has to share with me. -think with intentions of being better, wiser, and kinder. -act with intentions of kindness, purity and love. -love with intentions of loving my body, my mind, my relationships. Be intentional in every aspect of my life. With God. With relationships. With my career. With myself. Matter of fact, here is a picture of my phone screen to remind my every day that I need and am intentional in my life. I have found that when I am intentional of being my best self, I receive acts of love and kindness back two fold.
So, with 2018 in full swing, I am intentional. What is YOUR word for 2018? What word will help you survive?
