You will notice some changes that are starting to happen to my blog. The first noticeable change is the separation of the work, run, and mom into pages at the top right corner of the blog. I am going to start writing in three different areas of my life and get this organized, finally! Welcome to the change.
If you haven't started doing positive changes to your life, what can you do right now? Pick something small. maybe it is finally emptying out the car, the kitchen cupboards or under the bathroom sink. Maybe it is sorting through those old photos and cleaning off your desk top. Pick something small today and make one task a priority tomorrow, and the following days. De-cluttering the "stuff" that lurks around you will also de-clutter your brain. When you remove the "toxins" from your life that seems to turn in to all you can think about when you should be thinking of something else, it gets overwhelming and quite frankly useless. Absolutely useless. When I talk about ridding of stress, it doesn't just include situations you find yourself caught up in, people that are no long er worth your time of fight, but it also includes the (truly) worthless things that seem to bog you down. This weekend, I am focusing on organizing my thoughts on this blog. There is content that is jumbled in my brain that I want to sort out on these pages and it is valuable to me and you dear reader, because when I am organized, I suit myself (and you) well. Pick up a book if you don't know where to start, or just pick a small closet in the back of the house that holds unnecessary items and if you haven't used it in 6 month, either toss it, give it to someone who will use it or take it to the shelter house. Turn the energy that you use to hold the sentiments into positive energy to allow someone else to have it and love it like you once did, no matter the value of that item. Giving is better than receiving and when you give to someone who will truly need and enjoy it, that is way better than it collecting dust in your home. I have made organizing in Daniella's room a group effort. When I know that she is just collecting, well I will say it, crap, I sit her down and have the same speech I did 6 month prior about how it is time for her to decide that there is another little human who doesn't have these items (speaking specifically about the women's shelter-house) and it would be wonderful for her if she would pick out a few things that she hasn't used in a while to pass along. Every time she does it willingly because she knows that maybe that little girl who is getting this had it and because of a special situation, she couldn't bring it with her because her mommy was keeping her safe. it makes her feel good. Oh, my little donater, she is. My point? Get everyone involved. make it a group effort. We both know, as mothers, some of that stuff didn't end up in the closet because YOU put it there. Fall back in love with enjoying your home, not just the things in it. By de-cluttering, you will feel free and be able to love more deeply. Make some changes.

When I was a little girl, I could probably name three things that I received for my birthday, in the same breathe, I could name all of the places I have been, the cool things I got to do and what it felt like to be there. When I was thinking about Daniella’s 10th birthday, I wanted to do something that would give her an experience. Something that she would be able to remember forever. Something that she didn’t have to share with classmates, friends, etc. We decided on Chicago! This would be her very first road trip in the car (outside of Michigan) AND her first big city experience. She was so very excited. Our agenda was to go early Friday, eat, walk down town, and eat at the famous Giordano’s pizza. Saturday was an all-day experience at The American Girl Doll Store. We had planned to stay all weekend but the hotel we were at, had too many experiences, plus we were all exhausted and ready to be in our own beds, we decided to come home in the late evening. Below are some pictures of our adventure! She had the best time with her American Girl doll and it was a great experience. After a tiring day, I bribed her to come home and promised to take her bowling the next day, and we did. I live to make this little girl happy and give her the things my mom tried so hard to give me. Each day as she grows, she make me so proud and honored to be her mother. Happy 10th birthday baby girl, mommy loves you so much more than you will ever know.
This month was a pretty big month. We had a lot of different additions, adventures, and experiences that even though we had gloomy weather, we didn't let that stop us. Daniella started another season of volleyball and ended her first season playing township ball. Her school friend came to support her. These two are the best of friends! Daniella also welcomed her new baby sister from her father, Mya. Both girls have the same birthday month and this little baby couldn't be any sweeter! I also started selling YoungLiving. i'm not doing it for the money by any means. I was taught how to properly use them and now, I can't see myself without them. We also ha Daniella also had spirit week at school, the week before Chicago so she tried to participate in as much as she could. Then this purchase happened! The Chicago trip post will be up shortly, stay tuned! This month was so much fun! This is what a good time is all about!
