Every time a season changes, I find myself reflecting on what in my life changed. Do you ever do that? Just look back at maybe even each quarter of the year and reflect? What Changed? My living situation. Daniella and I moved back to my hometown and honestly? It feels really good to be home. It is peaceful and my anxiety has been eliminated. It is so nice to be in a local store and see familiar faces and even run into friends. My relationship status. As eluded from the previous point, you will see that it says Daniella and I. It doesn’t include anyone else. My marriage has ended and life has moved into a super positive direction. I am not going to discuss any more about it considering my privacy is the utmost importance but I do know that I share a multitude of things with you and if you are part of my Instagram fam, then you know what blessings have come my way. My goals. I started out the year really wanting to get back into powerlifting and even got Jason, my coach back. I soon realized that I was not ready to do any of that and to be fully frank, my heart isn’t in powerlifting anymore. I really have a ton of love for just showing up to the gym and working on what I would like to and do more of a body builder style workout. I have also shifted some personal goals and I am so excited to get started on them. I have been using the start today journal method from Rachel Hollis (read more about it in her blog post here) and it really has cultivated and inspired me to make some deeper changed and achieve my dreams from the standpoint of already done it rather than to do. The shift in my mind has been incredible. Mothering. For the last 6 years, I have found myself to be on edge, always chasing and never just letting the easy come easy go flow. I have also been more worried about a spouse excelling that I found myself putting so much energy that Daniella suffered. So, as of January, we relax, take things as they come, sleep in more often, lay around with the dogs at our feet and just enjoy each other. With Spring comes the renewal of life and with this Spring, it has definitely become the renewal of my life. The first quarter (Winter) I spent building myself back up and get settled and now I get to really focus on where I am going.
What changed for you?
