Styling my home has never come naturally to me and I think it is partially due to the fact that I want to make choices that are timeless, and well, making the actual choice is hard for me. I know what I like as far as style but putting it all together gives me anxiety. I have been dreaming about getting new dining chairs for quite some time. My original chairs were purchased off craigslist and they are sound chairs but I am just aching for something different. My old farmhouse table cannot be replaced as it is a family table and I do not want to replace it but the chairs need an upgrade for sure. I have decided that a metal chair will probably suit our family well considering they will last a long time and this is just one more step to getting my farmhouse. Or, that’s what I keep telling myself. I have the material chosen but the style is what is the difficult part. And price point….does it matter? Is cheaper a different metal? All questions I still barely have the answer to. So, as I do more research, here are the ones that I currently love and you will be able to tell why this is such a difficult choice. Maybe I just need one of each! My first set of chairs that I am pretty heads of heels on are the Morgan Arm Chair on Joss&Main’s website. I like that they have a different design than most of the metal dining chairs that are typical. I also adore the wood seat and the rustic gun metal color. $355.99 for a set of 4 isn't a terrible price but it isn't the cheapest I have found. The antique white of these lovelies have also been on my mind, also on Joss&Main’s website. The O’Connor Side Chair looks very sturdy. My only concern is the seat and it being a bit too slippery or not wide enough for comfort? These babies are $290.99 for a set of 4. Target had some great options too. Like these Carlisle low back metal dining chairs. These have the similar shape to the Morgan’s but the same seat as the O’Connor. While the concern with the seat is still there. These would seem to be a good compromise for the shape and if having the wood no longer was a thought. At $99.99 for 2, these are the cheapest option. Finally, something completely not from the inspiration at first but now I am starting to adore are these, Franklin wood seat dining chairs. I love that they are a little farmhouse mixed with a little industrial. However, these will probably not be on the list for too long because the $179.99 for a set of 2 just doesn’t do it for me. I am definitely still trying to decide but, after looking at thousands (not an exaggeration), I am just thankful at this point to have the choices nailed down to four. Beyond that, I am so very thankful that I have a husband who reels me in on money and wanting all of the things.
